KernelHub Access & Activation
KernelHub is invitation-only. One code activates your account for 30 days — everything else about the product is unchanged.
Activating
A brand-new workspace shows Activation Required. Enter your invitation code once, on iPhone or Android, and your account is active for 30 days. Desktop and the CLI have no code box — they inherit your account's access as soon as they are paired.
Codes look like KH-ABCD-EFGH-JKLM. Letters that are easy to misread (I, O, 0, 1) are never used.
Activation lives on the server, against your account — not against a workspace, a Mac, a Windows PC, or a CLI install. Reinstalling the app, opening a second project, pairing another machine, or switching machines never asks you again.
While it is active
The Access screen shows the plan, how many days are left, and the exact expiry date. Both numbers come from the server clock, not from your device — so what you read is what the server will enforce.
When it expires
Your KernelHub access has expired. Renew access to continue running tasks.
The app still opens and your work is still there. History, results, diffs and artifacts stay readable. Settings, devices and the Access screen stay open. What stops is starting new work:

Renewing
Enter a new code on iPhone or Android — the same place you activated. Renewal is added to your current expiry date, not to today — renewing early never costs you the days you have left.
Suspended or revoked
These are set by whoever runs your KernelHub server, and they are not the same as expiring. A new code will not lift them — ask your administrator.
Enforcement
Access is checked on the server, at the one place every client goes through. Editing the app, calling the CLI, hitting the API directly, or changing your device clock does not change the answer.
